Markforged Mark Two
For Strong Fiber-Reinforced Nylon Parts
Whether you need a functional prototype or replacement end use part we can print it. The Markforged Mark Two is the only desktop printer in the industry that enables you to go from CAD to beautiful, end-use strong parts in hours.
The Mark Two has two base materials. One is Tough Nylon. This is a strong thermoplastic that also has some flexibility. An excellent application is producing tooling jaws and end-effectors that are strong yet delicate to work parts.

The other base material is called Onyx. Onyx is a nylon infused with chopped carbon fibers in the plastic itself. It further adds strength to the base nylon while maintaining dimensional stability up to around 150 degrees Celsius. Printed parts also have a pleasing surface finish.

You also have an option to choose from four fiber materials to include in your part. By utilizing these fibers your part will be dramatically stronger than a standard thermoplastic part. Your options are:
- Fiberglass: For added strength
- High Temperature, High Strength (HSHT) Fiberglass: Add strength in high temperature environments
- Carbon Fiber: Add strength and save weight.
- Kevlar: Add impact resistance
With your choice of reinforcement and plastics, you can streamline your design process. You could also have a functional replacement plastic part in hours. Contact Us today to request a quotation!
